innovative and strategic abilities that make Northern Alberta
prosperous. Options for learning are as varied
as the region. From kindergarten to high school, to diploma and
degree programs, our schools and colleges are here to help you make
the most of you.
Our 290 primary and secondary schools are run by
20 Public, Catholic, and French School Districts, as well as by
First Nations and private educational organizations. Our 65,000
students attend traditional classrooms or learn through home study,
virtual campuses, and outreach programs. With a complement of over
5000 certified teachers, it is no surprise that Northern Alberta
generates top achievers.
