Real estate is a supply and demand market. House prices in Northern
Alberta are as diverse as the communities they represent. Depending
on the demand for housing in any particular area, you will find
a wide range of prices. For example, if you're interested in living
in Fort McMurray the price of a single detached home is higher than
in Peace River and a home of comparable value in Swan Hills would
be even less.
Rental costs reflect similar variances. For example a two bedroom apartment in Falher would cost two thirds
of a similar apartment in Grande Prairie.

You will also find a variety of accommodation options, from
apartments and duplexes, to mobile homes located in friendly
neighbourhoods. If you prefer, many of the larger communities offer
contemporary subdivisions designed with the young family in mind.

Playgrounds, basketball courts, and walking trails are but a few
of the details incorporated into the planning of most of these
subdivisions.
If you're a "space" person you will delight in the availability
of hobby farms, acreages, and privacy. These little gems are available
even on the outskirts of our larger communities. The country serenity
is sure to be the remedy after a hard day's work.
That's Northern
Alberta!
