Northern Alberta contains a wide variety of public, private and community-based programs that support the emotional and social well being of our residents. These include child/family and seniors’ services, mental health services and drug and alcohol treatment services.

Employment opportunities range from childcare and social work, to family therapists and court services. High demand jobs include: health and wellness practitioners, Aboriginal child and family services professionals, addictions counselors, administrators, psychiatric nurses, clinical psychologists and labour relations specialists.
